The Altar Guild Directors
extend an invitation to you, please consider A service of faith and love to our God and Father As a privileged Altar Guild member Before Service--- prepare the Altar for communion with filled vessels, elements, and linens for each celebration of the sacrament. After Service--- clear the Altar, sanitize the communion vessels and storage of same in the sacristy, launder and iron all soiled communion linens and return for use. |

Dear God in heaven,
who has graciously revealed thyself unto us through Thy Son,
we thank Thee that Thou hast given us the privilege of worshipping Thee in this Thy church.
We are especially humbled because Thou hast chosen us to attend to affairs of Thy worship,
to care for Thy Holy Altar and the vessels
employed in the administration of Thy Holy Sacraments.
Grant as we busy ourselves in these tasks
that we might be properly reverent and respectful toward this holy place,
that none of our thoughts or deeds might subtract from Thy glory.
Allow us to become examples for all who worship Thee,
that together we might worthily bring our love and our praises before Thy throne of grace.
We pray in the name of Thy beloved Son, Christ Jesus
who gave Himself for us upon the cross,
that we might give our lives unto Thee.
