The forty day season of Lent begins Ash Wednesday, February 21, 2007. It really can be thought of as a journey that we make with our brothers and sisters in the faith and most importantly, a journey that we make with our Lord, as we walk with him through his passion, his suffering, death, and resurrection.
Our Wednesday Lenten series is following the various exodus journeys that God’s people took throughout the Bible. The intent is to help us appreciate the presence of our Savior during our journey, and to more deeply appreciate the road Jesus traveled in his life. Our Wednesday services will begin at 7 pm lasting about a half hour in length and will offer a good opportunity for reflection and praise. The following is the schedule of special worship services and activities during the Lenten season. Don't forget there is a potluck signup list in the entry, add your name and what food you will share.
